Parts That Can Be Made Using This Process

Utilizing multi-axis CNC technologies machines like 5 axis and 3 axis CNC lathe and milling centers, we are capable of producing high-precision parts with complex geometries and tight tolerances. This technology is used to produce critical parts such as shaft, bracket, metal housing, die components, Mold insert, jig and fixture. At present, Joonhee’s machining part operations primarily serve international clients by delivering components for industrial valves and gas utility systems.

Overview CNC Machining Workflow

  1. CAM Programming & Simulation: Machining paths are programmed using CAM software (Solidcam and JDSurfmill) based on 3D CAD models with toolpath simulations to verify accuracy and avoid collisions
  2. Machine Setup & Zero Point Calibration: Tooling, jigs, and fixtures are mounted with reference to calibrated datum points. The zero-offsets and tool lengths are set using digital probes or manual dial indicators.
  3. Precision Machining Operations: CNC milling and turning processes are executed with maintaining tolerances typically within ±0.01 mm with real-time toolpath monitoring and coolant control for thermal stability.
Advantages

Unmatched Quality

Our machines are precise and able to meet the standards of GD&T with high precision and tolerance withing ±0.01 mm

Flexible Options

We possess a variety of machinery available for use which is 3axis and 5axis lathe and milling, among them including feeder bars and robotic arms.

Customisable To Fit Your Needs

Easily programmable through CAM simulation, enabling validation of custom machining layouts and efficient design of tailored jigs and fixtures for optimized setup and cycle time.

Comprehensive Processes

We provide various secondary processes which are centerless grinding for surface Finishing to achieve surface roughness (Ra ≤ 0.8 µm)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Yes, our CNC machining capabilities include advanced rotary axis support using integrated turntables and 5-axis rotary tables. These systems enable high-precision multi-surface machining by allowing simultaneous or indexed rotation of the workpiece.

Yes, we are able to offer customize automation in our CNC machining processes, including robotic arms for loading/unloading part to increase operational efficiency and reduce manpower usage.

As a stainless-steel CNC machining service provider in Malaysia, we are able to offer centerless grinding process as a secondary finishing process to achieve surface roughness (Ra) typically range between 0.1 – 0.8 µm.

We manage and dispose the machining waste which is used coolant under the classification of Scheduled Waste SW307 in accordance with the Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 2005 under the Environmental Quality Act 1974 of Malaysia.

We apply differentiated production strategies based on demand levels. For high-demand parts, we typically propose to utilize automated loading systems by robotic arms and prioritize long-run tooling setups to maximize machine utilization and reduce changeover time. For low-demand parts, we would propose flexible machining approach by using quick-change jig or fixture to minimize idle time.
